Thank you to those of you who showed up at Barnes and Noble in New York last night! We followed our dating discussion with some pizza and good conversation.
I must admit, my New York City trip continues to offer me some humbling moments.
On my way to the bookstore I ran into the dean of Columbia Journalism School. "Dean Lemann!" I waved.
And then I stepped in a puddle.
He either didn't notice or was kind enough not to mention it. "What are you doing here?" he asked.
"I have a book event," I said, showing him the cover of my book. "It might not win a Pulitzer - but it did win Best Dating Book!"
I couldn't tell if he was impressed or totally having an internal eyeroll on behalf of all my fellow hard working journalism alumni.
This morning I headed to WPIX in midtown for a little television interview. Here's the link. See if you can pick up on the snafus! (There are at least two!!!)

Tanya!! You did such a great job. I'm so proud of you! You know how good I am at math so you should be proud of me because I did notice the second snafu right away. Hehehe. Love you, Roo
