Admittedly, I had business cards made for my 31 Dates in 31 Days project. The cards were simple with just "31datesin31days.com" on them. That way it would force me to say something before handing it to a guy. Something like, "Hi, I'm doing this crazy project where I'm trying to find the best dates in the city for $31. If you're interested, let me know. Here's my website."
I wonder if this guy has an introduction or if he just hands out cards.
Have you already checked out his Facebook page? I have. Not much. Only enough to learn that he's now using Timeline.
So what do you think? Cute or creepy? Would you be flattered or put-off if someone handed you a card with a number on it?
Well guess what? It's actually WORKING for this guy - and it wasn't even his idea. This is what David Coppini, the guy who's handing these cards out, has to say:
"The craziest thing is that I didn't have anything to do with it because it was a present. One of my best friends gave me 150 business cards on Friday because it was my birthday -- he made them on Vistaprint. ... My friend made the mistake of posting the card on Buzzfeed with my phone number on it. My phone is dead. I've been getting 20/30 calls per hour. I don't even know how many, it never stops."

A friend of mine gave me this type of card years ago and I never had the nerve to use one.
If done the right way (tongue and cheek), it's cute. Although, I'd probably try and figure out how many other cards he had on him. More than 1 or 2 moves in to the 'creepy' zone!
