Here are two sites to improve your dates. The first is a fairly new website called "How About We." It's focus is on the date itself. You come up with an activity you want to do, post it, and someone with a similar interest joins in. I LOVE THIS IDEA.

Because this takes the focus off of the person and instead narrows in on doing something fun. This allows people to be a little more open-minded about the people they'll go out with. Plus, it gets them off the couch - always a great bonus!

The Love Trekker is helpful for anyone looking for a date idea. Just click on your state and find some activities or other date ideas for your area. I love this concept because it takes away that common excuse of "There's nothing to do in this town."
