Is your city a hot dating spot?
I love seeing all the different stats on "this city is the best place to date" and "ours is horrible." One person's dating downpour is always balanced by another's drought. So here are a couple "Top 10" dating spots.
The first is from the site singlemindedwomen.com, who ranked the top 10 cities for single women. The ranking is based solely on male-to-female ratios. Here are the cities they say are the best places for women to find a man:
1. Boston, MA
2. Washington, DC
3. New York, NY
4. Seattle, WA
5. Philadelphia, PA
6. Phoenix, AZ
7. Denver, CO
8. Pittsburgh, PA
9. Dallas, TX
10. Austin, TX
And apparently this was the Summer of Love over at Match.com. Today, the matchmaking website announced that more singles made online contact on their site this Summer than in years past.
Here's their list of the top 10 cities that used their site the most:
1. Miami, FL
2. New York, NY
3. Los Angeles, CA
4. Chicago, IL
5. Washington, DC
6. Dallas, TX
7. San Diego, CA
8. Phoenix, AZ
9. Boston, MA
10. Houston, TX
Apparently Philadelphia, Minneapolis, Pittsburgh, San Jose, and Providence, Rhode Island also ranked high in online dating hot spots.
