A new website that launched this week is offering bargains in bulk in 16 cities across the U.S., including New York, Los Angeles, and Seattle. Zozi is kicking off its multi-city deals by offering $500,000 worth of free events. Only one freebie is allowed per person.
After all of those deals are handed out, Zozi will offer other activities at highly discounted rates (between 50% and 90% off) on activities all across the States. The site also offers tour discounts in more than 160 countries.
Zozi's deals take a nod from Groupon's "collective buying power," where Groupon will make a deal with a vendor, hoping that a certain amount of people will sign up for the same deal at a restaurant or local event. If that minimum number of deal-seekers is reached, then the discount is granted. (Here's a cute lil' video from Groupon's site that helps explain how it works!).
Interested in your freebie from Zozi? Hop to it! The site's founder, T.J. Sassani, told USA Today that the site is already averaging one new user per second!
Let me know what kind of great deals you find if you use the sites!
